Executive Director of Coaching at Ponte Vedra Soccer

Trey Clark, Executive Director of Coaching at Ponte Vedra Soccer, is currently in his 14th year with the club and 10th as the Director. Coach Trey is in his 23rd year of coaching youth soccer. He carries 15 State and National Coaching certificates! Coach Trey and his wife Kathy who played locally at JU, are widely recognized as building the strongest Developmental program in the State. Together they have brought National recognition to the program in the past 8 years. Currently the girls Storm program is ranked 23rd in the Nation out of thousands of other clubs. That represents the highest ranking of any club in the history of Florida Youth Soccer. As Head Coaches, Trey and Kathy have won over 90% of every Tournament they have entered teams in, that includes Tournaments on the State, Regional and National level. They are also recognized as the most successful coaching duo to ever work the sidelines in 3 v 3 soccer! To date they have trained and or coached teams to over 50 National and World 3 v 3 Championships.

As a Director, Coach Trey has overseen a program that has grown from 1 Competition team to 15 currently in just 7 short years. Coach Trey has also been recognized as holding one of the Highest acceptance rates amongst players that attend State ODP tryouts. Last year alone that percentage was above 90%! Currently Ponte Vedra has more State team ODP players, Regional team ODP players and National team pool players than any other club in the State! Not bad when considering that in the history of Jacksonville Youth Soccer there has only been 5 State Championships won!

Staff

Many of our staff played Collegiate Soccer at Division 1 schools. Several played Semi Professional and Professional. All of our Coaches are Nationally licensed. Several coach at the Collegiate level currently and one coach represents Puerto Rico as an asst coach to their National team! Of the 6 State Championships won by teams in North Florida, our staff accounts for 5 of the 6 State Cup wins! Our Coaching staff represents more high level National Tournament wins than all other clubs in North Florida combined! The dedication of our staff was recently rewarded with a National Ranking of #23 for our girls program. The highest ranking ever by a club in the State of Florida.
